Transport Market Study published
RFC Rhine-Alpine is happy to publish the summary report of the new Transport Market Study. The study was carried out by a consortium led by TRT. In addition to an update on the RFC Rhine-Alpine transport market for 2015, the focus of the study is on the analysis of the modal shift potential related to three topics which had been selected together with Railway Undertakings: a) heavier trains (with 740m trains), b) faster trains and c) more reliable trains. We will discuss the study results in the upcoming meetings with the Executive Board and with our Advisory Boards with Railway Undertakings and Terminals.
