RFC Rhine Alpine is piloting the RNE TCR Tool to publish the planned Temporary Capacity Restrictions with Major, High and Medium impacts on the Corridor lines. The tool shows planned TCR with filter functions, map overview and report functions. This tool is still under construction and under development and the information is not complete yet, but feedback of future applicant users is highly welcomed.

Update on Corona situation: first release measures implemented
Some member state governments already implemented first release measures regarding the tense Corona situations. Infrastructure Managers on our Corridor are working on plans to return their passenger timetable back to normal from first and second week of May and are developing concepts for dealing with requirements of social distancing and face masks in trains and stations. Although for passenger trains cross-border trains are halted, rail freight remains unaffected – goods keep running on our Corridor!
The line is re-opened on both tracks for freight traffic on Wednesday 8 pm. Re-routings via Singen are still possible. Due to the new infrastructure a speed limitation of 70 km/h will apply for two days after re-opening.
Our Corridor IMs are currently working 24/7 on maintaining a smooth transport on our Rail Freight Corridor. Currently there are no severe impacts on freight trains and traffic is running without major disruptions.
Today, we are happy to inform you that ProRail and DB Netz introduced new rules in the border agreement for RU Emmerich – Zevenaar Oost to ease procedures concerning defect trains.
